Expect a follow-on shortly for testing in Nevada test facility. July 2004 Begin receiving orders for both handheld and glove decontamination products Pixon:  Pixon Jan 2002 CCAT market study reviews PixonVision real-time image processing hardware in DoD systems. Results predict the UAV and missile defense markets as most attractive. A focus on the SBIR program for development funds is suggested. Spring 2002 Pixon awarded two SBIR/STTR Phase I contracts with the U.S. Army. Both later awarded Phase II contracts (2003). July 2002 Pixon awarded a $430K contract from Aeromet for image post-processing for the Missile Defense Agency’s AIRS program. Award to build real-time hardware expected to follow. Sep 2002 Pixon awarded a $400K contract for image processing in a Canadian nuclear counterterrorism project. Feb 2003 CCAT awards Pixon a prototype development contract to refine the PixonVision hardware and demonstrate the system. May 2003 Pixon awarded SBIR Phase I contract with the U.S. Army to build a PixonVision ASIC for guided munitions. Aug 2004 The U.S. Navy conducts successful test of the PixonVision hardware. Initial contracts expected to be in the range of $450K$1.35M for Scan Eagle. The U.S. Army conducts testing with AAI for application to the Shadow. Initial purchase expected to be 100 units Pacific Microwave:  Pacific Microwave Jul 2003 CCAT market study reviews Pacific Microwave’s secure digital video transmission. The results suggest strong applications to the first responder market. Jul 2004 CCAT awards product development (body worn) and demonstration contract to provide for next generation product. Law Enforcement Training Center is Beta Testing set. Aug 2004 Discussions proceeding with two Intel customers, one military and one non-military, are to create a combined set of requirements. Both customers then intend to purchase evaluation quantities and deploy into the two applications. Phasebridge:  Phasebridge Mar 2003 CCAT performs market study on fiber-optic modulator. Study reveals large need and market across many DOD programs. CCAT initiates product development contract to create prototype. May 2004 CCAT performs market study for fiber-optic gyro. Study indicates strong need particularly in smart missiles and munitions. CCAT initiates product development contract to create prototype. Current Status Modulator A major DOD contractor has issued a contract to Phasebridge to incorporate the modulator into aircraft self protection towed array. Phasebridge with EDO have received $1.5M through NAVAIR to incorporate into the Lockheed Martin P3B aircraft Current Status Gyro Received contract from L3 for initial evaluation quantities. Under discussion with both L3 and NGC to provide gyro to replace MEMS technology in missiles, munitions and Mars Rover. In Summary, CCAT Provides:  In Summary, CCAT Provides Near term promising solutions for Naval, Homeland Security/First Responder needs Opportunities for early stage commercial companies, and government and university labs, nationwide, to gain access and exposure to potential clients and partners An un-matched, accelerated path that takes technologies from lab to market in 9 to 12 months (average) with a 90 day selection/award process A strong link between the commercial, investment, Naval and DoD communities to accelerate both: Spin-in of technologies for critical Naval and DoD needs Spin-out of Naval and DoD technologies for regional and national dual use benefit Economic and regional growth and more jobs and revenue
