The Detroit Science Center: The Detroit Science Center The Detroit Science Center: The Detroit Science Center Who: 2nd/3rd Grades What: Field Trip When: Friday, October 1, 2004 Where: The Detroit Science Center Why: To explore sound and light in a hands on environment THE COOL JAM ROOM: THE COOL JAM ROOM I like the jam room because it has a guitar and has a drum. It’s very cool. It’s loud and the electric guitar vibrates. The Detroit Science Center : The Detroit Science Center It was really fun. It had a jam room. It had shows. I played the drums. It was cool. Mrs.VanHater was on a weight thing. It was scary. I went to the classroom. We made vibrations. Detroit Science Center: Detroit Science Center I saw that I knew some things about the Science Center. My class had to go to the Science Center. We had fun. You should go to the Science Center too. We thought we could go to the Computer Lab because it was a good idea. The Detroit Science Center: The Detroit Science Center The Detroit Science Center is so much fun. And you should go if you teach science too. Even my teachers learned too. So you should go too. Oh I almost forgot to tell you that I had so much fun with the equipment. One made a low sound and a high sound. Detroit Science Center: Detroit Science Center We learned more about sound. We went to the jam room. We went to show’s. We first went to a classroom. Second we went to a show. Third we went exploring. We made instruments like the thunder maker. Detroit Science Center: Detroit Science Center The first thing we did was we went in a classroom .Then we went to a Science Show and I had a lot of fun.Then we went exploring and I saw a lot of cool stuff. And then we ate lunch. After lunch we went to another show. Then we went on the bus and went back to school. After that we went home. And I also had a good time at home to . Third we looked at the cool things like an instrument that has no strings. We also went to the jam room. Then we had lunch. I was so happy. LaFranz: LaFranz The Detroit Science Center was cool. We jammed in the Jam Room. We raced. We saw a trick show. We saw a tornado. I play an invisible harp. I made a high pitch. The Detroit Science Center: The Detroit Science Center We are by the whispering dishes. I told Kacie to go to the other one and she listened. I talked in it first. To make sure it was going to work. Then Kacie talked. I could barely hear her. It looks cool. Kacie was talking funny and she yelled into it. Detroit Science Center: Detroit Science Center Hi my name is Brianna, I am at the Detroit Science Center. You should of been there it was fun. I am playing the harp but it has no strings. It is electric. I was also was playing the guitar. It was a blast. Me and my friend were listening to all the different sounds. Detroit science center.: Detroit science center. I learned on a fast wheel. I watched and listened to the people in the Jam Room. Detroit Science Center Carissa: Carissa The Detroit Science Center was fun. We went on the elevator. We saw shows. A lot of shows. When we went to lunch we were talking about the Detroit science center. I love the Detroit science center it is my favorite place. I went on October 1st. Ariana’s 2nd time at The Science Center! : Ariana’s 2nd time at The Science Center! On October first my class and I went to the Detroit Science Center we learned about sound. We played jam music and had lots of fun. We had lunch and did lots of new things.We flew a plane too. Carissa and I whispered in the whisper dish. We were having a ball. Science Museum: Science Museum On Friday I went to the Detroit Science Museum. I went to the jam room. I went to the classroom. We made homemade flutes. Detroit Science Center : Detroit Science Center I went to the Detroit Science Center. The first thing we did was make a home made flute. But I could not make it because the flute broke. I learned about sound. DETROIT SCIENCECENTER: DETROIT SCIENCE CENTER I Kaytlynn am in the jam room. The jam room is on floor two. I am playing the base. The base is pretty big. I learned that the base has a sharp pitch. Detroit Science Center: Detroit Science Center We went to the Science Lab and I taped a tuning fork on my foot and put it in water and it splashed. We played the thunder can and it sounded like drums.We went to The Sparks Theater and Mrs Druchniak went up and got static in her hair. Khaire : Khaire I learned in the Detroit Science Center. A tuning fork vibrates. And .if you put it in water the water will splash. What I learned at the Detroit Science Center : What I learned at the Detroit Science Center I saw at the Detroit Science Center lots of things that made sound. It was fun. My food was delicious and good. I had a sandwich, teddy grams, juice, and candy. What I saw.: What I saw. I saw a trombone. I saw a straw. I saw a yellow well. I had a king sized lunchable.
