Use two feet. Document your artifacts here: tinyurl.com/artifactsipdx PowerPoint Presentation: Listening walk -- As a group, walk somewhere in the building and observe the space. Document your journey while on it. Come back to room and find a way to represent what you heard/learned. Create an analogy -- As a group or individually, create an analogy for your future learning space. Represent that analogy in any way you choose and amplify on meaning. Chart the flow of a space. Pick a space and map it on paper. What works? What doesn’t? How do people move in the space? Areas of congestion? Go forth and conduct learning interviews. (Possible questions--How do you learn best? Quiet or loud? If you could design a space for your own learning, what would it be like?) Document it in any way you find fits best. Pick a space either at this location or draw/print one. Using sticky notes or some indicator, mark areas of congestion/obstacles. Brainstorm five possible solutions. Find a way to document the encounter. PowerPoint Presentation: how might we?
