Slide1: Uncle Franky’s Slide2: Map of Area Uncle Franky’s is marked with red star. The area south of 8th Ave NE has been newly developed while the area north of it has remained largely unchanged. Slide3: Uncle Franky’s menu includes hotdogs, hamburgers, malts, and other traditional grill dishes. Slide4: Jay Grobstein, owner of Uncle Franky’s, has decorated his restaurant with cartoon characters and a large television plays the Cartoon Network. Jay believes that these decorations bring cheer to young and old customers alike. Slide5: Music Oldies radio stations play in the background at all times in Uncle Franky’s. Jay believes that this, in addition to the food and the cartoons, makes his customers happy. Slide6: Until recently, Jay Grobstein owned and operated Café Erte, a chic Minneapolis restaurant. The restaurant, named for a French artist, is well-reviewed and serves a high class clientele.
