I am a native of Greenville, MS. I graduated college in 2011 from Mississippi Valley State University, with honors, Magna Cum Laude in Early Childhood Education. I have an twenty-one year old son, Roderick, who currently attends Tougaloo College. I attend New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, MS. I currently teach Kindergarten at Weddington Math, Science, and Technology Academy in Greenville. Kindergarten Expectations: Kindergarten Expectations By the end of the school year, I expect all kindergarten students to: Recognize and write all letters of the alphabet in upper and lowercase forms Write first and last name Retell a story using key details Listen attentively Recognize and write number to 50 Count coins Recite the days of the week and months of the year Add and subtract using manipulatives Use graphs to gather information Put events of a story in order Write simple sentences using sight words Engage in question and answer dialogue NOTE: To change images on this slide, select a picture and delete it.
