The Student Exchange Program is a program aims to promote understanding and cooperation amongst pharmacy students and all health care professionals. It offers a unique educational and cultural experience in addition to the regular pharmaceutical knowledge. It also helps to broaden the students’ understanding of pharmaceutical and social conditions in different countries . The Student Exchange Program is what makes us unique organization, as we offer chances for the students to explore pharmacy in another country, as we believe that mobility in pharmacy education and getting the international training experience plus the gained cultural knowledge is an important factor in preparing pharmacy students to work as health professionals in the dynamic health care environment . In return we host students across the globe to get training in the best pharmacies, Pharmaceutical industries and hospitals in Egypt. Not only they spend all their time in training , but also we organize trips to Alexandria, Hurghada, Luxor, Aswan and The Oasis, to let them have an amazing time visiting one of the oldest countries in the world and learning its great history. What is T he Student Exchange Program ? PowerPoint Presentation: হ The EPSF student exchange program offers you an opportunity of visiting the world`s most amazing countries & getting training there in the pharmaceutical field (Industry , Research, hospital pharmacy or community pharmacy) and making friends from all over the world. So the offer is : accommodation and training & most of countries offer a social program too. What does Student Exchange Program offer for me ? PowerPoint Presentation: অ Usually it’s been in July & August but sometimes there is exchange offer too during mid of the year. When do students travel for this program ? PowerPoint Presentation: ক The most available countries are East Europe, last years we sent our students to USA, Macedonia, Hungary & Poland …...... For this year we will have also Croatia, Spain, Lithuania, Romania and Denmark and many other countries. Which country will I visit ? PowerPoint Presentation: ল Chairperson of Student Exchange (IPSF SEO): She/he is a member of the executive committee of IPSF elected each year at the IPSF World Congress. The main duty of the Chairperson of Student Exchange is to facilitate the smooth running and organization of the Student Exchange Program and to chair the Student Exchange Committee. Student Exchange Committee (SEC): The Chairperson of Student Exchange appoints the Student Exchange Committee, which consists of ten members. The main duty of SEC is to actively provide guidance and ensure the smooth and fair running of the Program. Regional Student Exchange Officers (RSEO) of each regional office of IPSF are also members of SEC . Student Exchange Officers (SEOs): The Student Exchange Officers represent their organization that is a member of IPSF. The Student Exchange Officers are responsible for arranging host sites and accommodation for the incoming students and finding places for the outgoing students by contacting other SEOs. They are responsible for the entire process of SEP in their country . Local Exchange Officers (LEOs ): In some countries, where the national students’ association is formed by several local ones, the SEO shares the work with one or more Local Exchange Officers. EPSF Individual Members only if they are unable to join an EPSF member association . N.B.: According to MSPSA Internal Constitution it’s not allowed for pre-pharmacy students and last year students (males only) to participate in SEP. Who Can Participate in SEP?
