The PTA National Standards for Family-School Partnerships: The PTA National Standards for Family-School Partnerships Did You Know…?: Did You Know…? “When schools, families, and community groups work together to support learning, children tend to do better in school, stay in school longer, and like school more.” PowerPoint Presentation: Families and school faculty need to continuously work together to “support students’ learning… both at home and at school” . -National PTA PowerPoint Presentation: Families should be involved in “ academic learning at home , including homework, goal setting, and other curriculum-related activities”. -Epstein and Salinas (2004) PowerPoint Presentation: Effective education “bridges the gap” between school and students’ families. There should be a partnership between the teacher and students’ family members, and students’ families should be fully informed about what is taking place inside of the classroom.
