What to do around Margaret River: What to do around Margaret River Just south of Perth in Western Australia, Margaret River is famous for its surfing, wineries and fantastic food. The self-guided walk with audio headset begins in a towering Karri forest.  Giants Cave takes a little more energy to visit than the others, but it’s worth the effort, and older children love it. It involves vertical climbing, some tight spaces and abseiling. This cave is not for everyone.  Another type of popular outdoor fun is the Amaze’n Margaret River. Huge hedge maze and botanical gardens that has a playground, gas barbeques and shaded picnic tables. There are also indoor games and puzzles. It offers all day fun for children. From a pleasant Yallingup accomodation , visitors can enjoy the more than 100 kilometres of hiking trails along the coast. The most popular is the Cape to Cape Track.
