TRANSPORT AND SAFETY MOTORBIKE TAXI • You’re likely to want to get one. 99% of students end up riding a motorbike. • Make sure you have an international driver’s license from your home country, or acquire a local one. • If you’ve never ridden a scooter before, start slow and follow our instructions. • Traffic can be confusing at first but you’ll get used to it quickly! • Always wear a helmet - and never, EVER DRIVE DRUNK! • Bali and Lombok have a well-functioning taxi system. Online app companies such as • Grab and • Go-Jek are also great and often more affordable options! • If you go out for some drinks, always use a taxi, Grab or Go-Jek! It's cheap and can save your life.
