Why Me Must Support for Military Charities: Why Me Must Support for Military Charities There are thousands of brave and women out there who are protecting both our rights and our freedoms. Basically out, they are the reason why we get to enjoy life the way that we do. The sad thing is that many of them are hurt and to make matters worse, some of them are being completely forgotten. Many of these brave warriors end up with conditions like PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and other life altering injuries. A good way of showing that we still remember them and the sacrifices they have made is by supporting military charities . The veterans that have fought and bled for our freedom definitely deserve much better than what most of them are going through. Military charity organizations help out these brave men and women by offering them services such as loans, counseling, education and food programs, and layettes just to name a few. It is no secret that many of us don’t even think about the hardships our soldiers go through because we are fortunate to be living in a free society. If you have the time and the financial means, then you owe it to both yourself and them to make a donation to a military charity. Even if you are unable to make a monetary donation to one of these charities, you can still help out by spreading the word about them. If you want, you can even setup a fundraiser with all of the proceeds going directly to them. Some of the charities that are worth making a donation to are the Air Force Aid Society, the National Military Family Association, Fisher House Foundation, and Homes for Our Troops. All of them have gotten A or A+ ratings from the American Institute of Philanthropy ( AIP ) signifying that they are trustworthy organizations. So if you have the means, be sure to make our fighting men and women feel appreciated and remembered by supporting these charities. It may not seem like much, but every donation that you give will help impact their lives in a very positive way.
